lazyboyloops drops EP, Summer Camp Daydreasm of Ghost Stories and Mandatory Sports.

Following the release of the debut instalment of his interstellar sounds series, lazyboyloops is back with the EP, Summer Camp Daydreams of Ghost Stories and Mandatory Sports.

You can check out the EP right now!

lazyboyloops has been a long-time artist here at Kiwi Bear Records, mostly because he’s one of the two that make up this record label, but also because his music absolutely fits in with the styles of music we love.

Summer Camp Daydreams of Ghost Stories and Mandatory Sports might be a dumb title, but it definitely sets the scene for this EP which is absolutely a front-to-back experience that features a mix of skits, sample chops, boom-bap drums, and original instrumentation which keeps you hooked until the very last second.

With this EP, lazyboyloops has tried to channel the feeling of freedom you got as a kid whenever you were taken on vacation either on a school trip or as the title suggests, at summer camp. It’s the first time you feel like an adult, being left to your own devises, and experiencing new things you wouldn’t necessarily get at home.

Summer Camp Daydreams is also a monumental release for lazyboyloops as it’s the most refined example of his sound. After experimenting with different styles of chill beats and lo-fi, this unique amalgamation of these styles is present in every track on this EP.
