New Music from Kiwi Bear Records – September 2023 Edition

How is it September already? With less than 100 days until Christmas, we’re coming with some early presents for your lug holes in the form of some ambient electronica, jazz piano vibes, and laid-back beats.

So hold on to your hats and click the links below to listen to everything we dropped in September 2023.

helioileh – anemoia

It’s dark, moody, and absolutely more-ish. anemoia is helioileh’s label and streaming service debut and what a debut it is.

Expect synthesizer melodies, deep ambient vibes, and trip-hop influences in a 23-minute tape that you’ll want to stick on repeat.

Dariush – If You Look For The Dark, That’s All You’ll Ever See

We’re excited to share with you this incredibly well-produced beat tape from artist Dariush.

Expect to find a blend of chillhop and instrumental hip-hop beats that channel that 90s hip-hop vibe but with a bit of a modern twist thrown in.

Erwin Do & lilaclaza – Show Time

What do you get when you blend the jazzy piano prowess of Erwin Do with the chill lo-fi hip-hop vibes of lilaclaza? Dare we say, perfection?

Show time is the perfect blend of both of these artists creating a smooth yet stunning work of art in the form of a three-track beat tape.

Steve’s Job – Lifted in Woods

To close off September is Steve’s Job, and no, we’re not talking about the forgotten beat tapes of Apple’s co-founder. Steve’s Job is a skilled chillhop producer and we’re stoked to have this EP from him!

Lifted in Woods takes inspiration from the great outdoors and is equal parts chill and upbeat, bringing old-school hip-hop vibes together with new-school sensibilities.
